He is best known as the founder of the Content Marketing Institute and the largest in-person content marketing event in the world, Content Marketing World. At this world-renowned conference, experts discuss how to start a podcast, why all companies should start a blog, and content marketing strategy.
Joe Pulizzi founded the company back in 2007 and spent nine years growing and scaling the business until it was acquired in June of 2016.
Joe is a highly sought after public speaker and a 5x author, including Killing Marketing, Content Inc. and Epic Content Marketing, which was named a “Must-Read Business Book” by Fortune Magazine.
After selling CMI in 2016, Joe spends his time with his wife and two teenage boys and actively fundraises for the Orange Effect Foundation, which he and his wife founded in 2014 to help children with speech disorders pay for therapy.
During this time, my guest also published four massively successful business books. His fifth book, Killing Marketing, is set to launch in September 2017.
